MIB: Management Information Base – Contains information on the creation and interpretation of data sent and received via the SNMP protocol.
Modbus: A protocol widely used in industry for control and monitoring. Modbus is the most commonly available means of connecting industrial electronic devices which contain programmable logic controllers (PLC's).
